See All ReviewsI gave Peking Garden a try for the first time, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. The service was extremely disappointing. Throughout the entire meal, my waitress never once stopped by to check on the table or ask if everything was okay. Good customer service is a big part of the dining experience, and it was completely lacking during my visit. Very disappointed and would not recommend based on the service I received.
I’ve been ordering from this place for years, and they have always been great. One of the few places that offers lunch specials on the weekends too.
You can sympathize with a business that is shorthanded. However, the business should remember that it is not the customer‘s fault for the delay. I ordered through DoorDash and had to go up to the restaurant to see why it was taking so long. When I tried calling, there was no answer. DoorDash can only deliver as fast as the restaurant has the order ready?Instead of the older, blonde woman, at the front, who I could see was busy, giving even the smallest of apologies, which would have gone a long way, had an attitude, almost as if I was at fault. Again, a small apology, with a little grace & tact, would have remedied the wait. In its place was a snippy voice & the showing of two telephones with a rude dismissal as to why my phone call was not answered. I got home to find the order waiting on the porch. Okay, at least it was finally delivered. Guess what? The order was wrong to top everything off. I paid $32 for an entrée, an appetizer, a manager’s sour stance, and the wrong order to boot. NEVER AGAIN.
